CPD becomes DFD

Düsseldorf Fashion Days as a new brand for the fashion location. Collection Première Düsseldorf" becomes "Düsseldorf Fashion Days": New name and appearance represent the synergy for showroom and trade fair location as well as retail in a contemporary way.

Adaptation to new situations is currently an important feature for successful action, and this is also true for the fashion location Düsseldorf. Since the term "CPD" has no ceased to do justice to the situation on site, the players at the location have jointly decided to change the original title of the order week to "Düsseldorf Fashion Days", short DFD, and to communicate this in a new logo. "Many buyers still associate Düsseldorf as a pure trade fair location with 'CPD'. However, it is not only the trade fairs that are characteristic of the state capital, but also over 670 showrooms. The new wording is intended to deliberately include these and stands for synergy in Düsseldorf," says Fashion Net CEO Klaus Brinkmann. The upcoming showroom order from 5 to 12 August will for the first time bear the name Düsseldorf Fashion Days - a brand that functions in its descriptive way for the entire location, for all players throughout the entire fashion year. 5 to 12 August, Düsseldorf will once again become an order hotspot, with the weekend core period from 8 to 10 August.
